COMMUNITY FOUNDATION OF JACKSON HOLE

CFJH has three grantmaking programs—competitive grants, micro-grants, and youth philanthropy for high school students. Areas of interest are arts, civic involvement, education, environment, health and human services, and recreation.

JOHN P. ELLBOGEN FOUNDATION

This Wyoming-focused funder supports basic needs, community, health, education, and the environment throughout the state. Letters of inquiry are accepted twice per year.

EQUAL JUSTICE WYOMING FOUNDATION

This funder’s legal aid work focuses on Wyoming.

EQUIPOISE FUND

This funder’s work centers on women and girls’ issues in Wyoming.

LYNN AND FOSTER FRIESS FAMILY FOUNDATION

This funder doesn’t have a website, but is the charitable giving vehicle for Wyoming millionaire Foster Friess. The foundation mostly gives to Republican, Christian, and mentoring programs for youth.

ROBERT S. & GRAYCE B. KERR FOUNDATION

The Robert S. & Grayce B. Kerr Foundation supports art and culture, humanities, health, and education in Wyoming, Oklahoma, and beyond.

MCMURRY FOUNDATION

This funder primarily supports Natrona County, Wyoming, groups in the areas of education, religion, children and advocacy for children, health and human services, arts and humanities, and favorable business environments.

MARY AND DOC ROBERTSON TRUST FOR HANDICAPPED CHILDREN

The trust funds organizations whose works invests in children with mental and physical disabilities in Wyoming.

HOMER A. & MILDRED S. SCOTT FOUNDATION

This funder primarily supports youth causes, but also has a hand in economic development, health, and arts and humanities. Grant requests are reviewed four times per year.

MYRA FOX SKELTON FOUNDATION

The Skelton Foundation has a wide range of grantmaking interests, all focused on Wyoming.

JOE AND ARLENE WATT FOUNDATION

The Joe and Arlene Watt Foundation supports the community of Sheridan, Wyoming in the areas of health and hospitals, higher education, human services, and youth.

WYOMING COMMUNITY FOUNDATION

This funder supports the standard array of nonprofit causes in the state of Wyoming. Most funding is for program support, and there’s a competitive grantmaking process that takes applications two times per year.

WYOMING WOMEN'S FOUNDATION

This funder is based in Laramie, Wyoming and supports causes for women and girls throughout the state. It is mostly concerned with boosting self-sufficiency and closing the wage gap.
