BACKGROUND: Robert F. Savage Jr. graduated with an A.B. in urban studies and business economics from Brown University. He started his career at Arthur Andersen LLP, in the real estate advisory and workout practice and then worked at Jones Lang LaSalle in a variety of investment management and project finance positions. He worked in the Investment Banking Division at Merrill Lynch & Co., and was a partner of Hudson Bay Partners. Savage was co-founder of the KTR Capital Partners and is co-owner of EWI Investors.
ISSUES:
EDUCATION & YOUTH: The couple supports their mutual alma mater Brown University. They’ve also supported Columbia Law School, where Sara is an alum. Sara has served on the board of directors of ASAP!, a nonprofit children’s arts program, another grantee.
