BACKGROUND: Raymond Debbane has a B.S. in agricultural sciences and agricultural engineering from the American University of Beirut, an M.S. in Food Science and Technology from UC Davis, and an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business. Debanne was a manager for The Boston Consulting Group in Paris and in 1985 formed Invus Group, where he is CEO.

EDUCATION & YOUTH: Debbane has supported alma maters Stanford University and American University of Beirut. Other grantees include Catholic Schools Assistance Fund and French Institute — Alliance Francaise.

POLICY & GLOBAL: Debbane and family support the Lebanese community, and have helped fund Drug Free Lebanon and Lebanese Center for Special Education (CLES). Debanne’s wife Carmen Chahine Debbane founded CLES and left the country during war times.
