PROFILE: Established in 1997, the Muriel and Bert Brodsky Family Foundation bears the name of Port Washington, New York businessman Bert Brodsky and his wife Muriel. The foundation’s current board members are Brodsky family members. The Muriel and Bert Brodsky Family Foundation’s grantmaking supports Jewish causes, health, human services, and education.
In the 1980s, Bert Brodsky founded National Medical Health Card Systems, Inc. (NMHC), a pharmacy benefit management services company now known as NMHCRX. He’s also been involved with such organizations as Alzheimer’s Foundation of America and Gurwin Jewish Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
