The owner, billionaire Arturo "Art" Moreno, sold his billboard advertising company Outdoor Systems for $8.7 billion in stock in 1999. He also owns commercial real estate in his home state of Arizona. He is also the owner of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, and he was the first Mexican-American to own a major league sports team. Moreno and his wife, Carole, move their philanthropy through the Moreno Family Foundation, which gave a little over $3 million in a recently reported tax year.
