BACKGROUND: Lewis Levin graduated with B.S. in quantitative analysis from University of Cincinnati and an M.S. in management from MIT Sloan. He joined Microsoft in 1986 and rose to the position of corporate vice president.

Grantees have included Ashesi University Foundation, which supports Ashesi, a private, non-profit liberal arts university located in Ghana, West Africa; College Access Now; New Israel Fund; Washington State Opportunity Scholarship; and Recovery Cafe, which “helps women and men in Seattle traumatized by homelessness, addiction and other mental health challenges.”
