PROFILE: Established in 1984, the Harold Brooks Foundation supports residents of Massachusetts’ South Shore communities. Harold Brooks was a successful entrepreneur and businessman who sold prefabricated structures and underground bomb shelters during the Cold War. He was from Braintree, Massachusetts, and passed away in 1963. This foundation is managed by Bank of America’s Massachusetts office. Grantmaking includes education, food, agriculture, nutrition, health, housing and shelter, and mental health.

This funder supports organizations that assist the largest number of people in its geographic interest area.
