It also recently gave a $410,000 gift to Samaritan Daytop Foundation, which "provides comprehensive health and human services to over 30,000 people each year through a network of more than 50 facilities located throughout New York City, Long Island and upstate New York." Hadar sits on the board of Samaritan Daytop. Additionally, he recently partnered with the USTA Foundation and the New York Junior Tennis League (NYJTL) to provide 36 inner-city children with tennis coaching and academic tutoring.
Grants range from $1,060 to $400,000. In a recent fiscal year, the foundation gave away around $1.3 million. Past grantees include Mount Kisco Child Care Center, Inner-City Scholarship Fund, Riverdale Country School (Hadar is a parent), Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, and UJA Federation of New York.
