PROFILE: Founded in 1994, the Daryl & Steven Roth Foundation was established by New York real estate investment CEO Steven Roth and his wife Daryl, an award-winning Broadway producer. Daryl & Steven Roth Foundation's grantmaking includes support of educational and Jewish organizations.

A graduate of DeWitt Clinton High School in the Bronx and Dartmouth College, Steven Roth is chairman and CEO of Vornado Realty Trust, a real estate investment trust with its primary office in New York City. Daryl Roth is a Broadway producer who's produced seven Pulitzer-Prize winning plays. The largest beneficiary of the Roths' philanthropy has been Dartmouth College. The foundation, however, makes a bulk of its grants in New York City.

Grantees have included Horace Mann School (Roth was a trustee), Harlem Village Academies, Roundabout Theater, Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, NY Stem Cell Research Foundation, and Mt. Sinai Medical Center.

In a recent tax year, the foundation gave away $1.4 million.
