Community leaders convened to explore establishing a local community foundation in the area. The funder adopted its current name in 2000 to reflect a broader region served. CRCF aims to “assist community members in their philanthropic endeavors to help others thus enriching the quality of life in our community.” The funder supports local education, scholarships, health care, the arts, community development, human services, and youth development efforts.
