BACKGROUND: Barry Volpert graduated from Amherst College. He went on to earn an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a J.D. from Harvard Law, where he was an editor for the Harvard Law Review. Volpert worked at Goldman Sachs for 18 years in global private equity, eventually becoming a partner.
